Married to Elaine with three daughters – Lindsay, Katie & Stephanie. Have two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Elaine works as a Paralegal for a local law firm and I am “retired”. I have my own business doing Accounting & Taxes. My wife and I were part of the “charter members” of Lord of Love and our daughter Stephanie was the first one to be baptized in the church.
Phil Boll – Vice Chairman
Married to Jennifer with one daughter, Kayla, who will be starting at Lakeside Lutheran HS later this month. I work as an application developer in healthcare IT and Jennifer works as a substitute teacher in area Lutheran schools as well as a teacher’s aide in the DeForest schools. We enjoy traveling as well as keeping busy with Kayla’s many activities. I’ve been a member at Lord of Love since 2016.
Shane Strong – Treasurer
Married to Melissa Strong with three children, two girls, Sophia and Abigail, and a son, Nathan. I currently work for American Family Insurance as a mechanic while Missy works for the DeForest school district as a recess monitor. We moved to the Madison area 4 years ago from Appleton. I retired from the Army at about the same time with 24 years of service.
Steve Kalscheuer – Financial Secretary
Married but one wife- Sharon 52 years, four adult children, 11 grandchildren (4 were adopted) and 1 great-grandchild. I am retired after 46 years in construction and development. Favorite foods: beer battered brats, fried cheese curds & beer, Philly cheese-stake sandwich & beer and salmon & beer. Hobbies include gardening, puzzles, tinkering with anything to modify or improve it, vacations, and walking, especially the bamboo forest of Maui.
Henry Nitz – Secretary
Married to Carmen and has 3 children – Theodore, Seraphina, & Arthur. I work as a software programmer for Lost Boys Interactive. While born in the USA I grew up in Malawi, Africa as a missionary child returning to Wisconsin for college. Our family enjoys playing a variety of board games, classic and modern.
Paul Crary – Trustee
Hello I’m Paul Crary; I and my wife Cindy live in Wyocena Wi. We have four grown adult children and twelve grandchildren and just welcomed our first Great Grandchild. We have been members of Lord of Love since it was a mission church at the community center in DeForest. It has been extremely exciting to watch the growth of our church. I look forward to and am honored to serve on the church council for the next few years.
David Vomhof – Trustee
Married to Kristin and blessed with 3 sons, Nate, Brett and Sam. Kristin works as the church office assistant at Lord of Love and has been a realtor for over 25 years too. I have worked as a licensed insurance consultant for over 30 years and currently work for Gerber Life as a sales and service rep. I grew up as a PK (preacher’s kid) as my father served as a WELS pastor for over 40 years.
